IG Drones secured $1M in funding
India’s leading AI company and drone technology, IG Drones has successfully got $1 million in its first round of funding. The investment symbols a landmark event for the company as it continues its fast-paced growth. It is backed by India Accelerator and Angel Investors at an undisclosed valuation.
A major portion of the funds will be dedicated to the R&D, which will focus on creating advanced drone solutions for defense applications in cooperation with aerospace companies and international defense.

The company is founded by Bodhisattwa Sanghapriya and Om Prakash, IG Drones has a rich history, which includes Asia’s first student rocketry mission, and was praised by the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi and taken over by ISRO.
The company focuses on drone manufacturing, R&D and surveying, inspection services and mapping. IG Drones has partnered up with the Indian Army, state governments and more than 100 enterprises with over 500 projects completed.
