Crash final season review: crash is a k-drama. It is streaming on Disney+ hotstar. It is an action, crime and drama web series. The show has been witnessing its final season. So let’s talk about the crash final season review.
Crash final season review
Crash final season review: After establishing its TCI (Traffic Crime Investigation) team and guiding us through a few cases, the action-crime procedural Crash deviated from its usual episodic structure.
This deviation occurred when TCI was swiftly confronted with the haunting past of their newest member, Cha Yeon-ho (Lee Min-ki).
One of the demons from his past happened to be within their own ranks – a superior officer they answer to.
Yeon-ho’s aversion to driving stems from the trauma he experienced after being involved in a hit-and-run accident a decade ago.
This traumatic event also explains his deep fascination with vehicular accidents, as his overwhelming guilt drives him to prevent further loss of life on the roads.
As a fresh-faced graduate from KAIST, South Korea’s prestigious technical university, Yeon-ho’s car collided with a newlywed couple on a fateful, dark night.
When he regained consciousness behind the wheel, he was devastated to learn that both the husband and wife had tragically lost their lives.
The deaths were actually caused by the young men, but Yeon-ho took the blame without knowing the truth.
Pyo Jung-wook is the leader of these men. He is the son of deputy police commissioner Pyo Myung-hak.
Halfway through the series, Myung-hak is promoted to the top position in the police force. It proves useful when he needs to use his power to protect Jung-wook from TCI’s investigation.
In addition to dealing with this, Myung-hak also has to face a mysterious person who has been sending news clippings to everyone involved in the accident and kidnapping them one by one.
This person turns out to be the husband who was believed to be dead. He faked his death, became a forensic specialist in the police, and devised a plan to seek revenge for his wife.
TCI pursues a few additional cases, all of which conveniently tie back to Jung-wook and his associates.
One of these involves a drug-induced car ride that leads to a major coincidence. A serious accident lands TCI team leader Min So-hee’s father, Min Yong-gun, in the hospital.
Conclusion of the Crash final season review
Crash final season review concludes around the midpoint of episode 11. It left more than one episode’s worth of time remaining.
Despite their accomplishments, the team is disbanded and its members are reassigned to different locations.
Yeon-ho finds himself on a remote island; when a girl goes missing. He enlists his former TCI colleagues to help solve the mystery.
The ensuing investigation is self-contained and does not tie into the overarching narrative that has unfolded so far.
